The Cosmos Network's consensus algorithm, Tendermint, is a refined version of the BFT algorithm originally developed at MIT in 1988, designed to address the Nothing-at-Stake problem in PoS systems and simplify the consensus process. LeisureMeta blockchain, leveraging the successful BFT-based Tendermint, uses a custom consensus algorithm similar to the HotStuff algorithm, simplifying the consensus process and enhancing network efficiency.

LeisureMeta chain employs a hybrid UTXO-Account structure, allowing for efficient transaction validation without requiring full blockchain synchronization. Nodes can participate in the network without sequentially downloading blocks, using snapshot sync and light block verification for quick recovery and participation.

In LeisureMeta Chain, the performance bottleneck is more affected by network latency than the computation power for block making. To reduce the bottleneck caused by network latency, nodes of LeisureMeta Chain exchange the list of known transactions through the Bloom filter.Based on the Bloom filter, each node can quickly verify what the unknown transactions is and efficiently transmit filtered transactions only.

In LeisureMeta Chain, a user can generate multiple private keys interlocking with a single address. Each private key corresponds to the individual device being used by the user. All private keys are encrypted and stored in a non-exportable form inside the device. When the service requires user's digital signature, the encrypted private key is activated by entering pre-set PIN code.
